Mauricio Pochettino has shared his thoughts on Chelsea’s loss to Everton.
The Blues were beaten by two second half goals from Doucoure and Lewis Dobbin, after Reece James limped off with a hamstring problem much earlier in the game.
It was another afternoon of toiling with nothing to show for it for Chelsea, who had plenty of possession, and created a few good chances.
The defeat means the Blues have now slipped down to 12th on the Premier League table, after suffering back to back defeats to Manchester United and the Toffees.
Speaking to the BBC’s Match of the Day after the loss at Goodison Park, Pochettino said: “Football is about scoring goals and we were not clinical in front of goal.
“I’m really, really disappointed. We didn’t get the point we deserved. I think we were better but we didn’t get what we wanted.
“This was a game to play and to win. It’s a problem we need to check. We need to analyse the reality. We need to talk and to try to improve in the next transfer market.”
Posh , please note the buck stops at your table.
