Chelsea were beaten 2-1 at Old Trafford by bitter rivals, Manchester United.
The Blues were way off their usual best, and struggled to create and put their chances away when they came.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side were also poor at defending and coping with Man United’s attack, which left many fans disappointed.
The Argentine coach has however refused to admit that the boys were simply not good enough on Wednesday night, and instead, praised them for giving ‘their best’.
“I am not disappointed because I think they gave everything,” Pochettino said after the game.
“The problem was collective, not one player, they showed more energy.
“We are a different project, we are not going to change what we have been saying from the beginning of the season, even with the players fit it would be difficult but now with players out, it is very, very difficult.”
