Mauricio Pochettino has revealed that Chelsea youngsters will be involved in Wednesday’s Premier League clash with Manchester United on Wednesday as a result of the injury crisis the team is currently dealing with.
Up to 10 players are out of contention to face United, including Conor Gallagher, who picked up a red card against Brighton on Sunday.
Pochettino also revealed on Tuesday, that Lesley Ugochukwu and Noni Madueke are out of the game as well, following the minor injuries they recently suffered.
“It’s not going to change too much,” Poch said, as quoted by the club’s official website.
“If you see the squad available tomorrow, it’s not difficult to see what my decisions will be. There are going to be many young guys involved from the Academy.
“There are not too many options, but I am happy. I am sure we are going to do a good game.”
Ben Chilwell, Wesley Fofana, Trevor Chalobah, Malo Gusto, Christopher Nkunku, Romeo Lavia and Carney Chukwuemeka are also all injured for the clash against Man United.
