The Premier League have confirmed the officials for Chelsea’s upcoming clash with Manchester United.
The Blues are set to face the Red Devils this Wednesday, in what promises to be another exciting outing.
Chelsea have already been branded the ‘entertainers’ of the season after the results they picked up against Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester City and now, Brighton.
According to the Premier League, Chris Kavanagh will be the centre referee for the 8:15pm kick-off (UK time), while Simon Bennett and Dan Robathan take on linesmen duties. Tim Robinson will be the fourth official, and David Coote will take care of VAR, alongside Sian Massey-Ellis.
Kavanagh is from Ashton-under-Lyne, a town just miles away from Manchester.
The 38-year-old has overseen 11 matches involving Chelsea, giving out 21 yellow cards in that time. The Blues have also won 8 of those games, drawn one, and lost the other.
