Mykhailo Mudryk has expressed satisfaction with Chelsea’s 3-2 win against Brighton on Sunday afternoon, despite Conor Gallagher seeing a red card.

The Ukrainian won a second-half penalty for the Blues, which was clinically dispatched by Enzo Fernandez to make it 3-1 to Chelsea, before Joao Pedro’s late goal.

Mudryk was particularly impressed with the reaction of Chelsea fans at Stamford Bridge.

“It’s a great result for us but it was a very nervous last ten to fifteen minutes,” Mudryk told Chelsea TV.

“When you have an additional time of ten minutes, it’s always hard.

“When you play ten against eleven, it’s always tough. But I’m very proud of our team today and it’s a great three points for us.”

He added, “The Chelsea fans getting excited when I’m on the ball gives me a boost.

“I really appreciate all the support of our fans, I love them. Thank you for their support. I try to do my best always.”
