Nicolas Jackson has sent a message to himself and his teammates after Chelsea’s 4-1 defeat against Newcastle.
The 22-year-old was involved in the game, but could barely do much, as the Blues were handed their worst defeat of the season.
Jackson however, appears to have moved on from the disappointment at St. James Park, having returned to training ahead of Chelsea’s next match.
The Blues will take on Brighton & Hove Albion this Sunday, and ahead of the game, Jackson shared a motivational message on his Instagram.
After posting photos from training earlier in the week, the Senegal striker added the caption: “Don’t look back.”
Chelsea have been facing some very difficult fixtures for the past two months, and pretty much handled them all well until they met the Magpies.
They will however need to forget the past, give their best, and overcome Brighton on Sunday, if they are to retain any hope of making it into the top four, with a 12-point gap already existing between them and fourth-placed Aston Villa.
