Chelsea have no intention of selling or loaning out Benoit Badiashile in January, according to the Evening Standard.

Badiashile has barely played for Chelsea this season after starting just two games.

The 4-1 loss against Newcastle United on Saturday, was only the 22-year-old’s second start of the season, but it wasn’t exactly a memorable one.

Badiashile wasn’t as confident as he usually is, as he struggled against the pace of the Magpies.

The Frenchman has been rumoured to be of some interest for AC Milan, who are considering a January loan, but Chelsea intend to keep him at Stamford Bridge.

It is being reported that Chelsea have complete faith in Badiashile and believe he will return to his best in no time.

Badiashile was injured for months, and only returned to full fitness in October.
