Newcastle manager, Eddie Howe has admitted his side’s Premier League meeting with Chelsea on Saturday will not be an easy one.
Chelsea have been a much-better side of late, after putting their early season struggles behind them to pick up four points from their last two matches against Tottenham and Manchester City.
The Magpies, on the other hand, are desperate to return to winning ways, following back to back losses against Borussia Dortmund and Bournemouth.
Chelsea and Newcastle haven’t played since Mauricio Pochettino was appointed manager of the club, and Howe is well-aware of the quality his opposite number has.
Speaking to the media about his side’s clash with Chelsea on Saturday, the Newcastle boss told the media at a Friday press conference: “They have a great manager, someone who has been in the Premier League before and he can develop young players – full credit to him and the job he has been doing.
“I think he is a really good fit for Chelsea and they are improving every week.
“We know it is going to be a real test.”
