Manchester City legend, Micah Richards has claimed that Phil Foden is a better player, and most likely with a better future than Cole Palmer.
Richards made the claim while speaking about Palmer, who joined Chelsea from Man City over the summer.
The two players have immense quality and potential, but Richards feels the Man City star has an edge.
He told the Rest Is Football podcast: “Do you remember when we did a game last season and he came on and we were saying what’s he like, what sort of player is he? Is he a number 10?
“He came through the academy and I’m not surprised what he’s doing. I think his talent, I wouldn’t say as much as Foden I wouldn’t say his ability could take him as far as Foden.
“But he’s very skilful, just the way he glides with the ball, he just has a different sort of mentality. When you go to a club and have been at Man City all your life, and he’s taking penalties off Raheem Sterling.
“You’re scoring penalties in the last minute against your old club, it takes great courage and I think he has the full.”
