Manchester United legend, Dimitar Berbatov has predicted that the game between Chelsea and Newcastle United will end in a draw.

The Magpies will welcome Chelsea to St. James’ Park on Saturday, November 25, hoping to return to winning ways after their last game, which ended in a defeat against Bournemouth.

Chelsea have started to gather points gradually after their slow start to the current campaign, although defeats to the likes of Aston Villa, Nottingham Forest and Brentford have left more questions than answers.

Judging by their impressive record against big opponents, Mauricio Pochettino’s men should be able to hold their own against Newcastle, even though Berbatov has gone for a 1-1 draw between the two sides.

The ex-Man United striker told Betfair: “The Champions League games have taken a toll on Newcastle. All these games can produce injuries and Newcastle need to be smart now.

“On the other hand, Chelsea needs to do better, and showed what they can do against Man City last time out. I think I’ll go for another draw.”
