Former Chelsea midfielder, Florent Malouda has urged the owners of the club to support Mauricio Pochettino by allowing him time to fine-tune his squad into a winning side.
Pochettino was appointed as a replacement for Graham Potter, who was fired towards the end of last season after a string of poor results that saw Chelsea finish 12th on the Premier League table.
Malouda is aware that winning is a culture at Chelsea, but the Frenchman wants Pochettino to be given time after the amount of promise his side has shown.
The former Blues star said on the Obi One Podcast: “Even in a successful time, renowned managers were kicked out, even if you win.
“In Chelsea, there is no time to build the project, you must win now.
“In our time, people talked about ‘boring Chelsea, boring Chelsea’ – boring, but winning!”
