Christopher Nkunku has returned to group training for Chelsea, as his recovery from injury continues. This is according to journalist, Ben Jacobs.
The 26-year-old has missed three months of football for Chelsea after picking up a bad knee injury back in the pre-season clash against Borussia Dortmund back in August.
Chelsea fans have been looking forward to watching the forward play for the club, and that is no longer too far away from happening, after he was spotted training with his teammates at Cobham this week.
It is however, unlikely that Nkunku will be involved against Newcastle this Saturday, although December shouldn’t be too near for him to play his first competitive game in a Chelsea shirt.
