Trevoh Chalobah will most likely be leaving Chelsea during the January transfer window, according to Fabrizio Romano.

The Englishman has had an injury-hampered season, and has been unable to show Mauricio Pochettino what he can do after playing for Chelsea during pre-season.

Chalobah was close to joining Bayern Munich last summer, with former Chelsea head coach, Thomas Tuchel said to be keen on being reunited with the centre-back, but the move fell apart.

Despite his injury, enquiries have continued to come in for Chalobah, including from top clubs like AS Roma, Inter Milan, Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur.

Romano claims that the 24-year-old is set to depart Chelsea in January, although the move is expected to take the shape of an initial loan before it is eventually made permanent.
