Former Shakhtar Donetsk sporting director, Jose Boto has said that Chelsea have one of the most difficult players to face in football today.

The Blues currently boast an array of talented attacking players in their squad, thanks to some smart recruiting over the last year.

Raheem Sterling, Cole Palmer, and Mykhailo Mudryk are a few of the gifted attackers in Mauricio Pochettino’s side at the moment, and they have all impressed at times this season.

Boto, however, believes that the Ukrainian winger is unstoppable when at his best, and that is exactly what makes him a handful for the opposition.

Speaking about the 22-year-old with Tuttomercatoweb, Boto said: “Mudryk is a player who has his technique and his attitude as his best attributes. He is also fast, and sometimes, when he sets off at speed, it really is impossible to stop him. At the moment, he is not going through his best moment because the expectations of his club are very high.

“The level of Chelsea is very high, but it’s normal. He has to be patient, keep working and remember that he is still young. He can do incredible things in his career.”

Mudryk hasn’t yet made the type of impact many expected of him, following his multimillion-pound transfer from Shakhtar back in January, but the talent is certainly there, and there is still plenty of hope that he will come good soon enough.
