Arsenal defender, Gabriel Magalhaes has named Chelsea’s Thiago Silva as one of his favourite Brazilian players.
The centre-back is among the players that have been invited for Brazil’s matches in the ongoing international window.
Silva is however, still missing in action for his country after being snubbed again by the coach, which extends his absence from national team duties to an incredible nine months.
However, the 39-year-old’s absence hasn’t stopped him from being recognised by Gabriel, who listed him as one of the players he’s happy to be working alongside at national team level.
“After Ronaldo came to Corinthians, of course I watched him a lot and he’s a top player,” the 25-year-old told Arsenal.com.
“I like Neymar so I’m happy to be there with him. Now he’s injured but he’s a good guy. I love to be there because I watched Neymar when I was younger.
“A lot of players, Marquinhos as well, Thiago Silva… I’m so happy to be there. Coutinho is a top player and I’ve played with him as well for the national team.”
