According to Teamtalk via The Hard Tackle, Chelsea captain Reece James has ruled out the possibility of joining Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City in the future.
Manchester City are reportedly interested in signing James to strengthen their right-back position but the 23 year old Chelsea captain has no intentions of making a move to another Premier League club.
James loves Chelsea and dreams of winning the Premier League as the skipper of the club.
The report states: “Reece and his camp are aware that if he wanted to leave, City would be first in the queue – but that isn’t under consideration. He loves Chelsea, they love him, and he wants to lift the Premier League as their captain.
“In the future, could he be tempted by Real Madrid? That would depend how things go, but don’t rule it out.”
