Napoli striker, Victor Osimhen has hinted that he could move to Chelsea soon, after admitting his love for the Premier League.

The Nigerian forward was in incredible form for Napoli, as they claimed their first Scudetto title in decades last season. He has however, not played enough this term due to injury.

Chelsea have long been linked with an interest in Osimhen, with Mauricio Pochettino reportedly in search of a lethal finisher to help the Blues further up the Premier League table.

Osimhen is however still contracted to Napoli, and prising him away from the Serie A champions could cost well over £100m.

The 24-year-old has now suggested he could be open to a move after revealing he owns a Chelsea jersey— and that most of his friends are fans of the West London outfit.

He told the Obi One podcast: “I don’t have a favourite PL team but I’ve two jerseys: Chelsea and Man United”.

“Many friends of mine are Chelsea fans, few are Man Utd fans.

“Premier League is the most appreciated league by every African player — it’s a huge league.”

Osimhen scored 26 Serie A goals from 32 matches for Napoli last season.
