Bayer Leverkusen have reportedly ruled out a January sale for Florian Wirtz, according to multiple reports.
The 20-year-old is said to be a target for Chelsea and Liverpool, but Leverkusen are unwilling to sell.
Wirtz is valued at around £80m, but despite that, Leverkusen won’t consider a sale in January for the player, who has performed well for club and country this season.
According to Kicker, Wirtz may be sold only if the Bundesliga side receive a German transfer record-breaking offer.
Leverkusen’s sporting director, Simon Rolfes recently said of their player: “No, no one has approached us – and no one needs that.”
