Cole Palmer has been in very good form since his summer transfer from Manchester City.
The 21-year-old has scored and assisted in most of the games he has featured in so far this season.
Palmer’s latest goal and assist for the Blues came during Monday’s 4-1 drubbing of Tottenham away from home.
Fans are becoming more fond of the winger, and stats suggest that he may indeed be on his way to etching his name in the history books of Chelsea forever.
According to a privately run Chelsea stats account, Palmer is the first player for the club to register a goal or create a big chance in each of his last six games for the Blues.
It’s a very interesting stat for a player that supposedly didn’t fit into Pep Guardiola’s plans at Man City. However, what makes it even more exciting is that the last Chelsea player to do this was Eden Hazard back in the 2018-19 season.
Chelsea have without a doubt, found a gem in Palmer, and Mauricio Pochettino will be hoping he stays fit throughout the rest of the campaign.
