Cole Palmer has revealed he’s enjoying life at Stamford Bridge after swapping Manchester City for Chelsea over the summer.

The 21-year-old sealed a £42.5 transfer on deadline day, as Mauricio Pochettino moved to increase his attacking options.

Palmer’s move to Chelsea did initially raise concerns among some fans, who thought he was allowed to leave City because he wasn’t good enough, however, the England youth international has proven himself to be a good buy since he arrived in London.

Speaking to the official club website after the 4-1 win against Tottenham, Palmer admitted he enjoyed the clash, which according to him, was something he grew up wanting to be a part of.

The versatile player also spoke on his departure from City, stating that he left for more minutes.

“I’m really enjoying it at Chelsea every day, on and off the pitch,” he said.

“It was a big change for me and my family to come here, but opportunities like this don’t come around often, so I’m glad it’s paying off at this moment in time.”
