Antonio Rudiger may be playing for Real Madrid right now, but the German remains Chelsea through and through.
The centre-back spent a good number of years at Stamford Bridge after his move from AS Roma in 2017. He was one of Chelsea’s most passionate players while he was in London, and he understands what the Chelsea vs Tottenham rivalry means to the fans.
Rudiger seems to now be looking forward to Monday’s Premier League clash between the two sides, and he’s not made hidden which side he’s on.
The 30-year-old, taking to his Instagram story, shared a photo of himself celebrating Chelsea’s win against spurs from two years ago. It was a Premier League game in which he scored, as the Blues cruised to a 3-0 win at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium. Thiago Silva and N’Golo Kante were also on target in the match.
It’s good to see Chelsea getting support from Rudiger, and hopefully, the players can deliver the win when the time comes.
