Mauricio Pochettino is not at risk of getting sacked by Chelsea, despite the Blues’ continued struggles this season. 

Chelsea have only managed three wins from 10 Premier League matches this season, picking up 12 points in the process. This is despite the Blues spending a huge sum of money on transfers over the summer.

Pochettino was appointed Chelsea’s head coach at the end of last season, and while things have seemed a little better than they were last season, they have all happened too slowly for fans’ comfort, although that will not be affecting the Argentine’s job security any time soon, according to The Athletic’s David Ornstein.

The journalist claims that Chelsea’s owners are happy with the way Poch has piloted the affairs of the team so far, and have not entertained the idea of relieving him of his job.

He adds that they do want to see an improvement in results, but it will take something going terribly wrong in the coming months for Poch to get the sack.
