Graham Potter has been out of managerial work for months now, but that could change soon.

The former Brighton boss was sacked by Chelsea after a turbulent time at the helm last season. Chelsea legend, Frank Lampard took charge of the club on a caretaker basis until the end of the season when Mauricio Pochettino was announced as permanent manager.

According to multiple reports, Potter has received offers in the Premier League and Championship, but he turned them all down. And The Sun is now claiming that he could potentially take over at Manchester United should they decide to part ways with Erik ten Hag.

The Swedish Football Association also recently confirmed that Potter is being considered for the national team job.

Swedish FA General Secretary, Andrea Mllerberg told TV4: “You can say this: The list that is on names and that I have been sent to me or that I am reading… it is clear that he is part of that list.

“We’ll see what we filter down and who is interested in this role.

“You probably have to be passionate about wanting to be the national team coach, especially given that it is different from club football. You may have to be ready with certain parts.”
