Former Spurs manager, Tim Sherwood has claimed Moises Caicedo is a level beneath Tottenham’s Yves Bissouma.

Sherwood made the comparison while speaking on the No Tippy Tappy Football podcast.

He said: “Now Ange Postecoglou has gone in there and some of those players are unrecognisable. You can only say what you see.

“The recruitment looked bad because the previous manager wasn’t getting the best out of them. This manager is.

“Bissouma has been unbelievable. Incredible, Bissouma has more than Caicedo I believe, he has that little drive through midfield, he’s cuter with his passing.”

Caicedo has not been at the level expected of him since his transfer from Brighton, but we have seen him produce some jaw-dropping performances in some of his games for Chelsea, and it would be unfair for anyone to put try to him down the way Sherwood did.
