Mauricio Pochettino has been urged to help Nicolas Jackson get out of his current struggles at Chelsea.

Jackson was signed from Villarreal over the summer, as a solution to Chelsea’s striking problems.

The forward has netted three times since the start of the season, but only two of those have come in the Premier League.

While analysing the player’s performances during an episode of The Gabs & Juls Show, ESPN pundit, Julien Laurens told Pochettino to help him with his movement in and around the box.

He said: “That’s not his position. He was never a centre-forward anyway. But now that you want to play him there, please, work on his movement. Help him out because right now he’s completely lost.”

Jackson’s fine form for Villarreal during the second part of last season was so impressive, and that played a part in Chelsea signing the Senegal international, but it appears the constant criticisms are getting to him, and morale is now low, so Pochettino might have to do something to take some of that pressure off him.
