Liverpool hero, Dietmar Hamann has criticised Chelsea loanee, David Datro Fofana over his clash with his manager last week.

Fofana, who is currently on loan at Union Berlin, has struggled to score goals since joining them in the summer, and his frustration seemed to take a toll in him, as he was substituted during Berlin’s 1-0 Champions League defeat to Napoli last week.

The 20-year-old refused to shake his manager, Urs Fischer’s hand as he walked out of the pitch during the game, and that didn’t go down well with the coach.

Fofana has since been suspended by Berlin, despite offering an apology to the coach and teammates, and now, Hamann has slammed his behaviour, describing the Ivorian as a ‘snotty brat’.

He said, while writing under his column for Sky Germany: “If one of these new players doesn’t shake the coach’s hand when he’s substituted, which can happen in the heat of the moment but shouldn’t happen, that goes down badly with the long-established players.

“Those who have been at the club for years and will go through fire for Urs Fischer say to themselves: ‘We’re going to reach the Champions League, he comes here and behaves like that, what does that snotty brat think he’s doing?’”
