Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino has admitted there was a mini moment involving himself, Nicolas Jackson and a Chelsea fan during the defeat to Brentford on Saturday.
The Blues lost 2-0 against the Bees, despite dominating proceedings for large spells, especially in the first half.
With Chelsea down to the visitors at a stage of the game, the coach was seen urging a fan to show some more support to his team.
The fan also appeared to be a little disrespectful towards Jackson, who lost his cool for a minute.
Explaining the incident after the game, Pochettino said: “It was a moment we all felt frustrated, this moment was a little bit down the energy of the situation.
“He arrived to me and we talked about the position on the pitch and we gave direction, one fan said ‘oh wake up’ and started to abuse a little bit, for Nico (Jackson), he lost a little bit of focus, I said come on focus here.
“I then said stop talking this way, we need support, stay behind the team, very respectful, and the fan was respectful, he said wake up and the player took it in a bad way. Nothing more.”
