Brentford striker, Bryan Mbeumo has expressed delight over their 2-0 win against Chelsea on Saturday.

The Bees sprang up a surprise win against Chelsea after conjuring up two second-half goals from nothing.

The defeat for Chelsea means Brentford are now the first team to have beaten Chelsea at Stamford Bridge three times in a row, which reflects on how poor the team have been in recent times.

After the game, Mbeumo told TNT Sports: “Before the game we wanted to come and win here because I don’t think many teams have beaten them three times in a row here.

“We’re very happy with the result, I think it’s a very good performance for the team.”

On his last-minute strike, which was in an open net after Robert Sanchez went upfield to assist Chelsea with a corner, he added: “When I’ve seen him coming high I’ve said to myself ‘if we have the possibility to counter-attack it’s a very good opportunity’. We did. I wanted Neal to score his first goal here but I’m very happy with this.”
