Football pundit— and former Arsenal star, Adrian Clarke has admitted he has seen ‘visible improvement’ from Chelsea duo, Cole Palmer and Conor Gallagher.
The two players were involved for the Blues during the 2-2 draw with the Gunners on Saturday.
Palmer put on a very impressive display, and even had a goal to show for it, as Chelsea were held at home by Arsenal.
Writing on his Talking Tactics column for the Premier League, Clarke, who used to play as a midfielder said of the Chelsea stars: “There has been a visible improvement in Chelsea’s play during October, having scored eight goals in their last three matches.
“At the heart of that upturn in form are Cole Palmer and Conor Gallagher, who have both elevated performance levels with their combined industry and quality on the ball.”
Both Palmer and Gallagher are regular names on Mauricio Pochettino’s starting XI this season, and they’re expected to be there again when Chelsea play Brentford in a London derby this Saturday.
