Chelsea boss, Mauricio Pochettino has admitted he expects a difficult match when the Blues face Brentford at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.

The Bees inflicted a 2-0 loss on Chelsea the last time the two teams met.

Pochettino however, believes his side have some momentum, and that should carry them over the challenge.

The Argentine said at Friday’s pre-match press conference: “We are in a situation where we’re still improving and we’re still far away from what we expect and want.

“But yes, it’s important to have this momentum, we have a really good opportunity now to show ourselves that we can keep the momentum.

“It’s really important, we need to create a run at home by winning.

“We need to improve the image of being solid in front of our fans at home.

“It’s going to be a tough game because they’re a very good team.

“They use two different formations so we will have to see, but we’re ready.

“It’s a nice challenge for us tomorrow.”

Poch added: “The Premier League is always tough. Every game is difficult. It is good to play with teams supposed to be at the same level of us.

“We need to go game by game.”
