Chelsea verdict on Robert Sanchez mistakes

Chelsea remain confident in Robert Sanchez despite his apparent knack to make mistakes, according to Teamtalk.

The Blues signed Sanchez from Brighton in the summer, just as Kepa Arrizzabalaga sealed a season-long loan to Real Madrid.

While Sanchez has had a few decent games for Chelsea since his arrival, the Spaniard has made some costly mistakes in goal for Mauricio Pochettino’s side, especially in the 2-2 draw against Arsenal, where his misplaced pass led to Declan Rice’s goal for the Gunners.

A number of reports have linked Chelsea with an interest in Arsenal’s Aaron Ramsdale, who appears to have fallen down the pecking order at the Emirates Stadium. The Englishman is now second choice in Arteta’s side, and is worried he may miss the Euros if he doesn’t play more.

Teamtalk however, claims that while Chelsea do admire Ramsdale, they are willing to give Sanchez at least, a season to get his act together before they move for another goalkeeper.

It is also claimed by the outlet, that Ramsdale, who is valued at £60m by Arsenal, isn’t yet eager to leave the club.
