Mykhailo Mudryk has suggested that Chelsea’s draw with Arsenal on Saturday might have been down to a loss of concentration from his teammates.

The Blues led 2-0 up until the 77th minute when Declan Rice scored from a Robert Sanchez mistake, and then, second half substitute, Leandro Trossard scored moments later to make it 2-2 at Stamford Bridge.

After the game, Mudryk told the club’s official website: “There is so much disappointment, the whole team is really upset now. I think we have to win this match but maybe we lost our concentration for 10 seconds, and in football things can happen quickly.

“When you lose concentration it can be really bad for you. We just lost concentration for 10 seconds, but football is fast, that’s all it takes.

“But we are still feeling good. I think we are going the right way. We are really disappointed that this was only a draw, but we just have to keep moving forward, working in this way and looking for wins.

“I think now, at the moment, we have more confidence than we had before. We just have to keep going in the right way and the results will come.”

On his first Stamford Bridge goal, the Ukrainian added: “It means a lot to me to score at Stamford Bridge, especially because I can share this moment with them. It’s special. I liked this moment and I want to have these moments more and more.”
