Raheem Sterling has admitted he’s hoping to get be recalled to the England senior squad ahead of the 2024 European Championship.

The Chelsea winger was snubbed for the Three Lions’ latest games despite being back to his best.

The decision was not well-accepted by many, and Sterling is hoping it’s different in the future.

He said: “Of course, of course England is still very important for me.

“It is a massive year for England with the players we’ve got but, like every other day, you just keep working, keep striving and what will be will be.”

He added: “Mentally, it is all good. Life is great, I have a beautiful family so what more can I ask for?”
