‘I see goals in this game’: Berbatov makes Chelsea vs Arsenal prediction
Former Manchester United striker, Dimitar Berbatov has predicted a 2-2 draw between Chelsea and Arsenal on Saturday evening.
The two teams meet for the first time this season after the tedium of the international break, and fans are excited to see what the outcome will be.
For Chelsea, Mauricio Pochettino will want to see that his side has made genuine improvements after their winning haul before the break, while Arsenal will aim to build on their narrow, but yet huge 1-0 win over Manchester City a fortnight ago.
Previewing the game for BetFair, Berbatov said he expects to see goals in the game, although he went for a draw between the two clubs.
“The odds will be in favour of Arsenal, but you can never underestimate Chelsea. They’ve picked up speed and are heading in the right direction,” said the Bulgarian.
“I see goals in this game. Both teams can score goals. The usual suspects I fancy to score. The likes of Nicolas Jackson and Martinelli as they’re always in the box. Prediction: 2-2.”
