Chelsea threw away a golden opportunity to get a first win against Arsenal in four attempts after a horrendous mistake by Robert Sanchez.

The Blues took a 1-0 lead in the first half thanks to Cole Palmer, who slotted home from the spot after William Saliba was adjudged to have handled the ball in his own box.

The Blues added a second after the break— Mykhailo Mudryk scoring a worldie from the left side of the pitch after a quick exchange with Conor Gallagher. Many would say it was an intended cross, but who cares!

Chelsea were in complete control, and looked good for the win, but a poor pass to Enzo Fernandez from Sanchez was intercepted by Declan Rice, who hit it from yards out to give the Gunners a lifeline with 13 minutes to go.

Second half substitute, Leandro Trossard netted Arsenal’s second just moments later, to make it 2-2, and deny the Blues an important win.
