Arsenal boss, Mikel Arteta has heaped praise on his Chelsea rival, Mauricio Pochettino. 

The pair have been friends since their time together as players at Paris Saint-Germain.

Arsenal are set to play against Chelsea on Saturday, and Arteta had kind words to say about the Argentine.

“He [Pochettino] has been one of the most influential people in my career as a player,” Arteta said.

“He took me under his wing and he looked after me like a little child. A little brother. He was a big part of the success I had in Paris.

“He has been a role model for me since that day, not only as a player but as a manager as well. He had a big say on that and I will always be grateful for what he has done for me.”
