Arsenal legend Ian Wright makes bold claim ahead of Chelsea vs Arsenal: ‘I think…’

Arsenal legend, Ian Wright has backed the Gunners to continue their good run of form by claiming a win against Chelsea this weekend.

Arsenal will visit Stamford Bridge on Saturday evening in hopes of extending their unbeaten run in the Premier League this campaign, which currently stands at eight matches.

Mikel Arteta’s men picked up a confidence-boosting 1-0 win against Manchester City at home just before the international break, and many are backing them to beat Chelsea this weekend.

The Blues are however, on a good run of their own, having won their last three matches across all competitions, although Wright believes the Gunners will be too strong for them.

Speaking on the Stick to Football podcast, the former striker said: “I think we’re beating them. We always cause Chelsea problems at Stamford Bridge.

“I’m going to go with 3-1. No 2-1 Arsenal!”

Arsenal have won six of their last nine matches against Chelsea, and three of them came at Stamford Bridge.
