The Athletic have put together, a ranking if stadiums in the English Premier League, but Stamford Bridge isn’t anywhere in the top five.
The outlet instead, places the Chelsea stadium in 9th place— beneath others like The Molineux, St. James’ Park and Anfield.
According to The Athletic, the Bridge doesn’t really feel like a stadium due to the many buildings and hotels around it, and as such, it is placed in 9th place.
They however, commend some things about Stamford Bridge, especially the fact that the stands are close to the pitch, helps to create a good atmosphere for visitors. They also add that there is a special feeling that comes with watching Chelsea play at the same stadium they have used since their inception.
The Tottenham Hotspur stadium is ranked number one on the list.
