Chelsea have debunked reports that Reece James suffered another injury ahead of Arsenal’s visit to Stamford this Saturday.

James has been away with a serious injury since the opening weekend of the season, and fans have been looking forward to his return.

Hearts were however, saddened with reports that he wouldn’t be available for the Arsenal clash as a result of a setback in his rehabilitation.

But it now appears that Chelsea have thrashed the rumours with a post on their official social media accounts on Wednesday.

Posting a photo of James in Chelsea training gear, the club wrote on ‘X’ (formerly Twitter): “Out on the grass.” The right-back also appeared happy to be back, as he wore a full smile in the photo.

Journalist, Nizaar Kinsella also wrote on the platform: “Reece James returns today after a period of solo training. A big push to make Arsenal.”
