Chelsea are monitoring Arsenal target, Ousmane Diomande, according to new reports.

The Sporting Lisbon defender was targeted by the Blues over the summer transfer window, although a move never materialised.

However, Record is now claiming that Mauricio Pochettino’s side are still eager to get the Ivorian, and could try to lure him to Stamford Bridge in January.

Diomande is reportedly seen as a future great, and a potential replacement for Thiago Silva when the Brazilian leaves Stamford Bridge.

The 19-year-old was in action for Ivory Coast, as they drew 1-1 with Morocco on Saturday, and he played the whole game with Chelsea scouts in attendance.
