Chelsea fans have been raving about one of their latest signings, Kendry Paez.

The youngster was signed by Todd Boehly and his team last March, after they spotted his talent. And the 16-year-old has already started showing that the move wasn’t a mistake as he continues to put on great displays for club and country.

Last week, Paez became the youngest player to score during a CONMEBOL World Cup qualifier, after netting for Ecuador as they beat Bolivia 2-1. It is also great to add that Chelsea teammate, Moises Caicedo assisted the goal.

According to football journalist, Fabrizio Romano, the Blues paid a decent sum of €20m to sign Paez from Independiente del Valle. When you look at his performances in recent times, the amount does seem to be a steal.

Paez will not start playing for Chelsea yet, though, as he will have to wait until he’s 18 to do so.
