Armando Broja has been sent home from international duty with Albania.

The Chelsea striker recently returned from a long-term injury, and is gradually working his way back to full fitness.

The 22-year-old had hoped to be a part of his country’s matches in this international window, but his coach, Sylvinho doesn’t want to risk his fitness, and has instead, sent him back to England after keeping him on the bench during Albania’s 3-0 win against Czech Republic on Thursday.

Broja is the second Chelsea player to be sent home from international duty, after Axel Disasi was sent away by the French national team with what seemed to be an injury.

Chelsea will be hoping that both players will be available for their match against Arsenal immediately after the international break.
