Levi Colwill has been named in the final 25-man shortlist of the Golden Boy award 2023.
The Chelsea defender has been in fine form since last season, which he spent on loan at Brighton. In fact, he was so good that Brighton and Liverpool wanted to sign him, but Chelsea opted to keep him.
Colwill has started the 2023-24 season in phenomenal form for the Blues, and it’s no wonder he was named in the final 25-man list of nominees for the award.
Colwill will however be facing stiff competition from other players on the list, Including Jude Bellingham, who has been on fire since he joined Real Madrid from Borussia Dortmund in the summer.
The Golden Boy award 2022 was claimed by Barcelona’s Gavi.
