Inter Milan sporting director, Piero Ausilio has denied reports that the Italian club are interested in signing Chelsea’s Armando Broja.

Broja, who just recovered from a long-term injury, recently returned to the Chelsea squad. The youngster also netted a goal in his first start for the Blues this season after nearly a year on the sidelines.

But with the amount of competition in Chelsea’s forward positions, Broja has been linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge by as early as January, with Inter his main suitors, although Ausilio insists the reports are untrue.

He told reporters: “No, I’m sorry, but that [the rumour] is not true, because we are happy with the strikers we have. I know Broja.

“I know that he is recovering from a serious injury and has also scored a goal. I hope for him that he will be important for the national team. But at Inter there is no chance.”
