Mauricio Pochettino has heaped massive praise on Cole Palmer.

The 21-year-old joined Chelsea from Manchester City, and after a slow start in his first two games, Palmer has been turning up the heat for Chelsea.

His movements and passing range has been exceptional, and he’s already becoming a key player in this young Chelsea team.

Pochettino has hailed Cole Palmer as the player who links the team on the pitch.

“Cole Palmer also is a good player that links all the team-mates,” Pochettino said.

“We are giving him a starting position on the right but after we give freedom to play in between the lines.

“He’s ready to read what the team needs and to be unpredictable, because football is a game where you need to be unpredictable and he has the capacity to be like this.”
