Romelu Lukaku has been slammed by former Italy player, Antonio Paganin, following his comments about what he went through at Chelsea before leaving on loan in the summer.
Lukaku joined AS Roma back in the summer, where he has been in fine form, but prior to the transfer, the Belgian was expected to move to Inter Milan on a permanent basis after spending last season on loan over there. The deal never happened, however, after the Nerazzurri pulled out of talks as they accused Lukaku of speaking with Juventus about a potential move at the same time.
The 30-year-old recently threatened he could reveal the ‘shocking’ events that surrounded his failed move to Inter Milan, but Paganin has told him to either speak or shut up instead of dropping hints.
“I had appreciated the silence up until now,” he said before continuing, “The moment you say, ‘I will speak’, the respect that was there disappears from me. We are certainly missing something, but now either you speak or you shut up.”
Chelsea have reportedly fixed a fee of £37m for which Lukaku could be sold next summer.
