Malo Gusto has warned Chelsea captain, Reece James he will not sit back and watch him take ownership of the right-back position.
Gusto covered for James while the England international was out injured after the 1-1 draw with Liverpool earlier this season, but with both players now fully fit and ready to play, Gusto has insisted he will fight for the position. The Frenchman also hailed his skipper as a player he takes advice from.
“We give each other a lot of advice, he tries to help me and I try to help him as best I can,” the 20-year-old told RMC Sport.
“On the pitch, it’s war, he knows it very well.
“We don’t necessarily do each other any favours and simply the best player will play.”
