Trevor Chalobah is expected to join Bayern Munich when the January transfer window comes alive, according to reports.

The 24-year-old was linked with the Bavarians in the summer, but the move never quite materialised.

Sky Germany however, reports that Bayern are still eager to add Chalobah to their squad. Thomas Tuchel’s side are hopeful a loan offer to Chelsea with an obligation to buy will be accepted for the player.

Nothing concrete has been agreed regarding the move for now, but it doesn’t seem like this is one of those deals Chelsea will be reluctant to allow to happen.

It was Tuchel who brought Chalobah into the senior fold at Chelsea, and the academy player was indeed impressive  under the German.
