Ian Maatsen has been called-up to the Holland national team by Ronald Koeman.

The Chelsea fullback has been impressive since pre-season, and in the few games he’s played a part in for the Blues, so far this term, which explains his inclusion.

Some senior Holland players have also suffered a injuries recently, which left Koeman with no choice but to call up Maatsen as one of the replacements.

The Oranje are set to face France and Greece in their European Championship qualifiers this week, and Maatsen is expected to play a part.
