Arsenal’s William Saliba is hopeful he will be fit before the Gunners have to take on Chelsea.

Arsenal will travel to Stamford Bridge to take on Chelsea immediately after the international break, but like the Blues, Mikel Arteta’s men will be hoping to have their key players available for the clash.

Saliba played a role in Arsenal’s 1-0 home win against Manchester City on Sunday, as he made sure Erling Haaland didn’t threaten David Raya’s goal.

However, the Frenchman also picked up a toe problem during the game, which now puts him at risk of missing the Gunners’ trip to Chelsea.

Saliba is not part of the France squad that will play against the Netherlands and Scotland in the coming days, but according to Evening Standard, the player is confident he will be fit again before Arsenal play Chelsea.
